Lethbridge Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run injury collision that occurred during the early morning hours Sunday.
On Jan. 26, 2014 at approximately 2:49 a.m. a passerby contacted police after observing an injured male lying in the northbound lanes of Stafford Drive on the bridge deck. Upon arrival police located a 45-year-old male cyclist who appeared to be the victim of a hit and run collision. The male was initially transported to Chinook Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries and later transferred to Calgary Foothills Hospital. He remains in Foothills Hospital in critical condition.
Police have released a photo from a nearby surveillance camera:
That's some pretty horrible potato camera quality, but at least it is something. Any guesses on what the vehicle in question might be?

The press release from the cops indicate it was a truck. I agree with you though, it was hard to tell anything, it could almost be any truck.

Black. Large, probably aftermarket, aluminum wheels. Looks like a topper. Tacoma? Seems to say midsize pickup. Crew cab (untinted front, tinted rear windows). Chrome bumper. Definitely seems to be aftermarket wheels. Probably six-shooter or full dish
